How’s My Driving? was the first road safety service of its kind in the UK, launched in 1995 to encourage safer driving and provide a mechanism for road users to share constructive feedback. The service quickly became recognised as a trusted, independent brand, helping to diffuse potentially hazardous situations and promote greater awareness among professional and commercial drivers.

To modernise the service and support a growing nationwide customer base, How’s My Driving? required a robust digital platform capable of managing fleet registrations, processing eCommerce payments and capturing public feedback in real time. The solution had to be intuitive, secure and scalable for fleet operators across London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and the wider UK.

Bespoke Website & CMS for Public Feedback

New Media Aid developed a mobile-friendly website and content management system that enables members of the public to easily submit feedback about vehicles displaying a How’s My Driving? badge. Submissions are automatically routed to the relevant business owner, providing them with timely information about driving behaviour and potential safety concerns.

The CMS allows administrators to manage vehicle data, content pages, safety messaging and customer information, ensuring the platform remains up to date and responsive to public and industry needs.

Fleet Registration & eCommerce Integration

Fleet operators can register their vehicles online through a streamlined onboarding process. We integrated a secure eCommerce system enabling businesses to pay for their How’s My Driving? badges and associated services directly through the platform. Automated workflows ensure that fleets are activated immediately once payment is confirmed.

Secure Customer Portal & Feedback Dashboard

Each business customer has access to a dedicated secure portal where they can:

This provides fleet managers with valuable insight into driver behaviour and supports internal safety initiatives, compliance monitoring and driver training programmes.

A Modern Digital Platform Supporting Safer Roads

The bespoke solution delivers a comprehensive set of tools for How’s My Driving? and their customers, offering:

This modernised platform continues to support How’s My Driving?’s long-standing mission to improve road safety for businesses and communities across London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and the rest of the UK.
