Hammond Produce, based in Nottingham, farms more than 3,500 acres across three counties and produces over 50,000 tonnes of fresh vegetables every year. The business grows, packs, prepares and delivers a diverse range of fresh produce—available in multiple sizes, cuts and formats—to supermarkets and major retailers throughout the UK.

To support their high-volume agricultural and packing operations, Hammond Produce required a modern, digital system that would allow both production line operatives and delivery drivers to manage workflows efficiently. Drivers can record delivery activities, capture photographs and complete electronic signatures directly from their tablets, ensuring that all supermarket deliveries—whether to locations in London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex or elsewhere—have an accurate digital audit trail.

Secure Web Management System for Workflow Configuration

The questions, prompts and workflow steps displayed on the Android app can all be managed through a secure web-based management system. Supervisors can update procedures at any time, allowing Hammond Produce to adapt rapidly to new requirements from retailers or internal quality teams.

All captured data, including timestamps, photographs and staff signatures, is synchronised with the cloud-based backend and made available through a comprehensive reporting dashboard. Managers can review production line activity, verify delivery completion and monitor quality compliance without needing to chase paper forms.
