What’s new in Android foldables, tablets, and large screens?
Large screen usage is growing. The video below walks us through new components, tools, and developer toolkits to help our Android app developers adapt the bespoke Android apps we develop to make the most of the growing number of foldables, tablets, and desktop environments that have emerged recently such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Motorola Razr 5G, Huawei Mate Xs/Mate X2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold.

The video highlights new and updated components such as SplitPaneLayout, NavigationRail and MaxWidth component updates. It also covers how to use WindowManager Jetpack library and ConstraintLayout to build differentiated experiences depending on the foldable state of the device (e.g. folded or not).
